What to Expect

Our first 60-minute session is a time to get acquainted, review intake forms, and go over your concerns. This assessment involves taking a thorough history of the presenting problem and its development through one’s life span. Based on the clinical information gathered, I will give a mental health diagnosis (if applicable) and recommendations for treatment. Together, we will identify goals to work on and devise a treatment plan for how to achieve these. 

Sessions thereafter, we will explore the concerns that brought you to therapy within a strengths-based construct and devise a treatment plan. Know that you are in the driver’s seat. We can make changes and revise your goals at any time. Together, we will regularly evaluate progress and make sure the goals are appropriate and relevant.
